Many people are very comfortable in writing essays. Admitted that writing a good essay is not an easy task to be done by everyone, but on the other hand, writing essay is not always required too, especially when you are writing your resume. Quality vs. Quantity
Believe it or not, quality always overshadows quantity. So the content of a resume is much more important than the size of the resume. You should only write the content that matters most and reject all irrelevant issues. Appropriate Formatting
Do not use bigger sized or too smaller sized fonts. Use only standard fonts like Times New Roman, Verdana, Garamond, Arial, etc while crafting your resume. Value the spaces between sentences, since it is absolutely needed for higher degree of comfort and readability. It is not good to list up references unless they are asked to provide. Most of the resume experts suggest that a resume must not be longer than two pages, or else, it turns out to be really tiresome. In fact, if you can manage writing your skills and achievements within one page, it is even better. However, for an executive the story may become little flexible and the size of the resume may turn by three pages also. But in all of the cases, you must make it sure that you are only listing the best part of your career only just to support your desired goal.

Be Specific
Many people simply become lost in their own talents and expertise and it reflects in the way they craft their resume. While crafting your resume you must stay focused and be specific as much as possible. You must know what your reader wants to see in your resume. It is your talent to sell yourself with the help of your resume, so you must know how to list up your credentials in order to support your career goal. If you write more or write less, you may not get the impact your desire from the submission of your resume. So, take enough care about the wordings you place in your resume to get the highest calls.
