Acting Resumes

A professional acting resume is a written copy of any past acting tasks which you might have done. In your resume ensure that you mention your roles which you have done in the plays, serials, training or movies. Other skills might also comprise of things like skateboarding and juggling.

It is not compulsory that you give information about everything you have done in your career. You only have to give importance to the most important role and other performances that had some weight.

It is advisable to make an acting resume that accurately tells your achievements and experience. This document must be of one page which states stage, theatrical, television, film and commercial experience. It will be better if you divide your resume so that every part of your resume is properly explained.

You must include the following things in your resume:

  • With whom you worked (if you are not a fresher).
  • Your age. Some experts will give you suggestion against this for letting the director make a decision how old you appear.
  • Mention your height and weight.
  • Color of your hairs ( if you are using white and black headshots).
  • Eye color ( if you are using white and black headshots).
  • Your acting credit (the type of role you played).
  • Special talents like dancing, musical instruments, weight lifting, singing etc.
  • Contact information.
  • Your name or stage name.

If you are having some acting credits, see to it that you mention only those roles which you have played in the big theaters or in which you have played larger parts. See to it that you make the professional resume. You should not give any false information in your resume. it will probably come back to trouble you.
