- Responsible for the planning, coordination and execution of all national medical meetings/conventions for the Tran catheter Heart Valve business unit.
Additionally, was responsible for planning and coordination for ancillary meetings/symposia. - Direct exhibit design program including production; works with vendors to arrange space, literature, hotels, equipment rental, and set-up and dismantling of the exhibit; plan and coordinate the routing of exhibits shipped for the convention program. Arrange for specific events at national conventions; will also support some international conventions.
- Managed and executed projects and marketing plans intended to maximize company exposure and produce sales leads. Develop objectives and strategies for the overall effectiveness and execution of marketing events.
- Worked with Marketing Management on the development and detailed management of budget /activity related to each individual convention or meeting.
- Negotiated contracts and manages relationships with outside vendors. Prepare ROI evaluations of events.
- Generated reports providing information on cost-per contact, audience profiles and representatives’ comments. Assisted in the selection of conventions in which to participate.
- Managed payment of exhibit fee for convention booth space, secure housing and badge registration for Edwards’ attendees.
- Managed, maintained and recommended continuous improvements for all booth properties and convention assets. Remains current on new trends in exhibit design.
- Managed convention lead generation process and ensure distribution to sales analyst function for tracking within a timely manner.
- Served as consultant to management and special external spokesperson for the organization on major matters pertaining to its policies, plans, and objectives.
