  • Directed the creation of advanced filing systems and status boards for the Operations Officer and Battalion Commander, which provided a clear vision for the battalion’s equipment and personnel availability for the upcoming operations.
  • Supervised Base Cost Center with 300K annual budget. Detailed orientation, combined with good scrutinizing capabilities accommodated a substantial number of wrongly assigned expenditures for Somalia operations. Amended discrepancies, resulting in a properly balanced / managed budget.

WORKS CONTROL SUPERVISOR / STANDING OFFER AGREEMENT, 1995 - 1999

  • Trusted to supervise and develop newly formed SOA Cell which provided the seamless coordination of contractual agreements amounting $1.5M for material purchasing to support expanding base infrastructure. Identified the requirements and sourced a consultant to computerize accounts payable and tendering renewals.
  • Defined, then drafted Procedural Guidelines to standardize procurement and accounts payable processes. Followed through with extensive and supportive staff training.

WORKS CONTROL SUPERVISOR / ACCOUNTS SUPERVISOR, 1991 - 1995
Petawawa, Ontario

Sole administrative co-ordinator in this demanding dual role requiring responsibilities in two departments of the Construction and Engineering section. Prepared monthly financial forecasts and managed departmental budget affiliated with special projects and base infrastructure repairs and maintenance. Control divisions.
