  • Takes lead role within OMUS in establishing product and process control procedures and processes in conjunction with other functional managers.
  • Acts as customer’s Quality Assurance representative to OMUS. Acts as process owner (i.e., maintains and improves upon) the NCR, PAR, CAR, Customer Satisfaction and Loyalty Assessment and customer complaints processes.
  • Ensures the timely and accurate documentation, root cause analysis and disposition of NCRs, PARs, CARs, Customer Satisfaction and Loyalty Assessments and customer complaints; ensures the implementation of corrective and preventive actions take place as a result of these.
  • Facilitates and coordinates as well as maintains records of Management Reviews.
  • Assists functional managers in the documentation and analysis of process metrics versus objectives/goals; assist functional managers in process improvements.
  • Acts as OMUS quality assurance representative to suppliers and sub-suppliers; ensures suppliers and sub-suppliers are qualified and assists suppliers and sub-suppliers in such qualification.
  • Assists functional managers in the development of processes (including process maps, procedures, work instructions, job descriptions).
  • Works closely with the functional managers to ensure processes and individual responsibilities are conducted in accordance the Quality Manual, approved process procedures, work instructions and job descriptions.

Skills

  • Prior QA management experience (5-8 years) with beverage or other food products.
  • Microbiology Laboratory management

  • Knowledge of Statistical Process Control, HACCP, sanitation, and hygienic design
  • Hot CIP (clean in place) background a plus.
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Person must have sound administrative and computer skills.
